Youth-in-crisis have a rough go any year. During Covid, it was exponential. NRS (National Runaway Safeline) asked Troup to come up with a campaign that took the stigma of asking for help away for adolescents in-need.
Partnering with CG artist & illustrator, Ben Fearnly, Troup launched a social campaign, Let’s Step Forward Together. Using sneakers as a medium, the work motivated and empowered those at greatest risk.
The NRS website saw a massive jump in traffic after this campaign was live with a 117,000 new site visitors. It also received 20 million impressions on social media which was a 25% increase over expectations.
